About the Workshop

Agriculture remains the dominant sector in many developing economies, as it accounts for a major share of the gross national product and is still the primary source of employment. Therefore, the agricultural industry is undergoing a revolution all over the world as new techniques are being employed to increase the quantity and quality of Agricultural products.

The insurance sector can play a major role to considerably strengthen the security of farmers. In addition, and considering the manifold benefits of insurance industry, the governments have given due importance to the development and modernization of this important sector.

Therefore, it has become a necessity to tackle this subject to help in increasing the expertise and training high-level work force in Agricultural Insurance for the growth of this class of business in our markets. Our workshop is dedicated to give the audience an overview on the development of Agricultural Insurance in FAIR Land, and share the experience needed to improve the role of Agriculture Insurance business, which in return will secure the success of the various initiatives taken for Agriculture development.
