The importance of digital marketing and the use of technology in various forms has emerged as a consequences of the Coronavirus pandemic, ranging from shrinking and stagnating economic activity to closures and working from homes, as digital channels have become the most effective means for business continuity and communication with customers.
The digital transformation of insurance marketing channels has brought about a change in consumer expectations. This shift towards digital marketing requires a review of the current culture and methods of implementing business. Insurance companies now need to allocate their resources to develop their digital transformation tools and to focus on digital methods for collecting, processing and transmitting information, which requires a comprehensive evaluation of the tools currently used, the document management process and communication channels. To sum up, the main element of digital transformation trends lies in transforming the behavioural pattern of insurance companies' customers into digital marketing models that meet their needs in ways that are consistent with changing customer behaviours.
